Shipping Policy

Overview

Theater Haven provides Free Standard Shipping for orders accepted for delivery to supported United States addresses. For most products, the estimated delivery window is 7 to 15 days after the supplier ships the order. The delivery estimate begins when the supplier hands the shipment to the carrier, not on the date the customer places the order.

Order processing and preparation take place before shipment and are not included in the 7 to 15 day transit estimate. Certain products may take longer because of their size, manufacturer availability, special handling, freight appointments, or destination. This policy explains standard shipping, processing, estimated delivery times, exceptions, and how Theater Haven assists customers when a shipment is delayed or has a problem. Optional premium services, when available, may carry separately disclosed charges.

01. Policy scope and customer expectations

This Shipping Policy applies to products purchased through Theater Haven, including furniture, home theater seating, sofas, sectionals, recliners, entertainment centers, electronics, and home accents. It explains shipping eligibility, fulfillment, delivery methods, tracking, delays, and the steps to follow when a shipment has a problem.

Delivery arrangements can differ by product, supplier, shipping destination, weight, dimensions, and services selected before the purchase is completed. The shipping method, price, and any material limitations presented for an order form part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

02. Where Theater Haven ships

Theater Haven offers shipping to eligible addresses in the United States for supported products. Delivery availability is determined by the item and the options presented for the destination at checkout. An item that can ship to one state or postal code may not be eligible for delivery to another.

Some products fulfilled through participating third-party supplier programs may offer additional destinations, including destinations outside the United States, where those options are expressly available during checkout. A shipping option for one product does not mean that every item can be shipped to that location.

03. Independent suppliers and fulfillment partners

Theater Haven operates as an online retailer and coordinates fulfillment with participating suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, or their authorized logistics partners. Some merchandise ships directly from a supplier's warehouse rather than from a facility operated by Theater Haven.

Fulfillment origins, shipment availability, carriers, and handling procedures can differ by item. The origin and shipping method relevant to a particular order should be reflected in available product information or confirmed through our customer-service team when that information is material to the purchasing decision.

04. Information shown before checkout

Customers should review the shipping destination, the Free Standard Shipping service, product dimensions, available optional upgrades, and estimated delivery information before placing an order. Standard shipping is included at no additional shipping charge on orders that Theater Haven accepts for delivery to supported United States addresses.

If a product requires special delivery arrangements or has a delivery estimate that differs materially from our typical 7 to 15 day window, the applicable information should be made available before purchase when known. Any optional premium delivery charge must be presented for customer approval rather than added as an unexpected standard shipping fee.

05. Order confirmation and fulfillment verification

An order acknowledgment confirms that Theater Haven has received an order request. Before dispatch, the order may require verification of payment, delivery eligibility, item configuration, and availability with the fulfilling supplier. An automatic order acknowledgment does not necessarily mean that a carrier has received the merchandise.

If we identify a material fulfillment obstacle, such as unavailable stock or an unsupported destination, we will contact the customer regarding appropriate options. We will not substitute materially different merchandise without the customer's agreement.

06. Processing and handling times

Processing is the time required for order verification, payment checks, supplier stock confirmation, picking, packing, and preparation before the shipment is transferred to a carrier. Processing time is separate from the advertised 7 to 15 day delivery estimate, which begins after the supplier ships the merchandise.

Handling requirements vary with the supplier and product. Large furniture, special-order goods, or items awaiting replenishment may take longer to prepare. A shipping label or fulfillment notification alone does not establish that the supplier has shipped the order. Any processing or shipment commitment made before purchase, and all legally required shipment-delay notices and cancellation rights, remain applicable.

07. Business days, weekends, and holidays

Handling estimates stated in business days generally exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and applicable carrier or warehouse holidays unless a particular listing explicitly states otherwise. Orders placed outside a participating supplier's processing hours may enter its workflow on the next available business day.

Carrier operating schedules, holiday closures, and supplier production schedules may affect dispatch and delivery. A processing estimate should not be interpreted as a guarantee of weekend or holiday pickup unless that service is expressly confirmed.

08. When the delivery estimate begins

The estimated 7 to 15 day delivery window begins on the date the supplier physically hands the ordered merchandise to the shipping carrier. This is the shipment date for purposes of the delivery estimate. The order-placement date, payment authorization date, supplier processing date, and shipping-label creation date do not begin that window.

Delivery time is separate from pre-shipment processing and handling. For freight orders, an appointment or additional carrier scheduling may be necessary after the merchandise reaches the destination area. Product-specific delivery estimates and commitments made during checkout continue to apply, and legally required shipment timelines are not extended by this method of describing estimated transit.

09. Estimated delivery: 7 to 15 days after shipment

For most Theater Haven products, standard delivery is estimated at 7 to 15 days from the date the supplier ships the merchandise to the carrier. This timeframe does not include the processing or handling period before shipment. It describes the general expected transit and delivery period for products without a separately stated delivery estimate.

The 7 to 15 day period is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date. Oversized furniture, freight appointments, remote destinations, carrier disruptions, and other product-specific circumstances may require longer. Where a longer estimate is known before purchase, Theater Haven will make the applicable information available. A delay in getting an order shipped remains subject to the promised shipment timeframe and to any legally required notice, consent, cancellation, and refund rights.

10. Standard shipping

Standard shipping is Theater Haven's included delivery service for accepted orders to supported United States destinations. Depending on the product, this may involve parcel transportation, a scheduled standard freight service, or another comparable carrier method appropriate for the item's size and handling requirements.

Standard shipping provides transportation to the delivery point specified by the applicable service. It does not automatically include expedited transportation, room-of-choice placement, white-glove handling, installation, mounting, assembly, or packaging disposal unless the product or order expressly includes those services.

11. Free Standard Shipping

Theater Haven provides Free Standard Shipping on orders accepted for delivery to supported United States addresses. Customers are not charged a separate fee for standard shipping. Depending on the product, the included standard delivery service may use a parcel carrier or a standard freight carrier.

Optional delivery upgrades, such as express shipping, white-glove service, room-of-choice placement, or assembly, may carry separately disclosed charges where available. Delivery address and carrier restrictions may affect whether Theater Haven can accept an order, but no extra standard shipping fee will be added to an accepted order.

12. Shipping costs and optional service charges

Free Standard Shipping is included in the product price. Customers will not be charged an additional fee for standard shipping. Optional services, such as express delivery, white-glove delivery, indoor placement, or installation, may carry additional charges when available. Any such charges will be disclosed before purchase.

If a customer requests a new delivery service after placing an order, we will explain any additional cost and obtain the customer's agreement before proceeding. Theater Haven will not add unexpected standard shipping or standard freight fees after an order has been accepted.

13. Optional expedited and express delivery

Express and expedited delivery, when available, are optional upgrades to Free Standard Shipping. Their availability depends on the particular product, destination, supplier, carrier, and selected level of service. An express option for some items does not mean it is available for every item.

Upgrading transit speed may not shorten manufacturing, supplier processing, or freight appointment scheduling. A separately quoted cost for a selected upgrade will be disclosed before payment, and any specific expedited commitment will be governed by the terms confirmed for that order.

14. Oversized merchandise and standard freight delivery

Large reclining seating sets, entertainment centers, sectionals, and other bulky furnishings may require pallet transport or a specialized freight carrier. Standard freight delivery may be the included Free Standard Shipping method for these products when the order is accepted for a supported destination.

Freight carriers may need to arrange a delivery appointment, use a regional terminal, or meet building access requirements. Standard freight does not automatically include indoor room placement, assembly, packaging removal, or white-glove services. The required delivery method and any known departure from the typical 7 to 15 day delivery estimate should be communicated for the particular product.

15. Curbside delivery

Curbside delivery normally means that the carrier makes the shipment available at an accessible curbside or other location identified by the agreed service. It generally does not include moving the item inside a residence, carrying it upstairs, placing it in a room, or assembling the product, unless expressly included.

Delivery personnel may be unable to safely access particular roads, driveways, building entrances, or loading areas. The exact delivery point depends on the carrier's service terms, site conditions, and the method agreed for the order.

16. Threshold and room-of-choice services

Threshold service, when purchased or included, generally provides a delivery to the entrance or designated threshold consistent with the carrier's stated service. Room-of-choice service, when expressly purchased or included, may provide additional placement inside the premises within the stated access limitations.

These terms are not interchangeable. Carry-in services can be unavailable for some products, locations, stairs, elevators, or building conditions. The specific service purchased and any restrictions disclosed before the order determine what the carrier is expected to perform.

17. White-glove delivery and special handling

White-glove or enhanced delivery is provided only if explicitly included or offered and selected for a specific order. Depending on the confirmed provider, it may involve appointment scheduling, indoor placement, unpacking, limited assembly, packaging removal, or additional assistance. No particular task is included merely because a carrier uses the expression white-glove.

Customers should review the stated scope and access conditions for an enhanced service before agreeing to an upgrade. Services not listed in the confirmed scope, including electrical wiring, wall mounting, structural modification, or complex assembly, should not be assumed included.

18. Assembly, installation, and mounting

Unless expressly specified for the item and service selected, shipment of a product does not include installation or assembly. Electronics and powered furniture may require setup, compatible electrical outlets, secure furniture anchoring, or other preparation that is the customer's responsibility unless the order states otherwise.

Customers should follow manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements. If a supplier or separate contractor offers installation, the confirmed scope, price, and appointment arrangements must be disclosed as part of that service.

19. Freight appointments and carrier communication

Some freight carriers contact customers by telephone, text, or email to arrange a delivery window. A usable phone number and access to messages can be important for coordinating these deliveries. The carrier may request confirmation before dispatching a truck for a residential delivery.

Appointment windows depend on carrier routing and availability. Customers should promptly notify Theater Haven when a carrier is unable to schedule a suitable delivery or when they receive conflicting appointment information. An estimated date shown in tracking is not necessarily a confirmed delivery appointment.

20. Delivery access and receiving conditions

Before ordering large furniture, customers should measure doorways, hallways, stairs, elevators, turns, room entrances, and the final placement area. They should also consider parking access, gated communities, loading docks, limited delivery hours, building management requirements, and any structural obstacles.

Known access limitations that may prevent the agreed carrier service should be disclosed before or promptly after ordering. Theater Haven can help obtain available product and shipping dimensions, but a successful delivery may depend on site information that only the customer or receiving facility can verify.

21. Residential, commercial, and restricted addresses

A delivery address must be accurate and supported by the selected carrier. Some suppliers cannot deliver oversized products to post office boxes, military addresses, remote roads, islands, or other restricted locations. Eligibility depends on the actual item and carrier service rather than on a general storewide assumption.

If an address is unsupported or requires unusual equipment or access, we will contact the customer to discuss lawful available options. A carrier or supplier limitation does not authorize us to add an undisclosed post-purchase fee without appropriate consent.

22. Multiple products and separate shipments

When an order contains products from different suppliers or warehouses, items may ship on different dates, through different carriers, and in separate packages. Large furniture and small accessories may arrive independently even if purchased in a single checkout.

We will provide available shipment information for each fulfilled portion where supported. A completed delivery for one package does not necessarily indicate that all remaining merchandise in the order has been delivered.

23. Shipment tracking and order status

For shipments that support tracking, Theater Haven or the fulfilling partner may provide a carrier name, tracking number, tracking link, or freight reference when available. Tracking may not show movement immediately after a shipping label is created.

A generated label is not proof that the carrier has physically received the merchandise. Some scheduled freight shipments require direct carrier communication and may have fewer public tracking scans than standard parcels.

24. Status notifications and customer communication

Order-related emails or messages may include acknowledgment of the order, fulfillment information, carrier details, appointment instructions, shipment delays, and important service updates. Customers should keep their contact information accurate and monitor their email, including filtered folders, when expecting an order.

Customer-service communications may be necessary to resolve an unavailable item, incorrect address, delivery restriction, or supplier delay. Transactional delivery notices are distinct from optional marketing messages.

25. Changes to an address or shipping method

If a delivery address or selected shipping method needs correction, contact Theater Haven as soon as possible and provide the order details. We will determine whether a change can be accepted before shipment or by the carrier after dispatch.

Rerouting a shipment may not be possible once it enters a carrier network. Any additional charge or material change to an accepted delivery arrangement will be handled in accordance with the original order terms, applicable law, and the customer's required consent.

26. Delays, revised shipment dates, and cancellation rights

Shipment time representations must be based on a reasonable expectation of performance. When a shipment cannot be made within the promised period, Theater Haven will provide the notice, revised shipment information, opportunity to consent to a delay, cancellation option, and refund required by applicable law, including the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule where applicable.

If no shipping deadline was promised, applicable law may impose a default shipment period, generally 30 days for covered internet merchandise orders. This shipment requirement is not a guarantee that a freight delivery appointment or final arrival will occur within 30 days. Customers will not be required to accept an indefinite or materially extended shipment delay where the law provides a right to cancel and receive a prompt refund.

27. Supplier backorders and availability changes

An item may become backordered or unavailable after checkout because a supplier's inventory or production schedule has changed. If this affects the promised shipment period or the ordered product's availability, we will inform the customer of the available options.

We will not ship a materially different model, finish, size, or configuration without appropriate authorization. When an order is cancelled because merchandise cannot be supplied as promised, an applicable refund will be processed as required by law.

28. Missing, lost, or misdelivered shipments

If tracking reports delivery but the merchandise cannot be located, or if a shipment appears lost, contact Theater Haven with the order number and available tracking information. We may ask the customer to confirm the delivery address, receiving location, building desk, or other pertinent information to assist the investigation.

We will work with the carrier or supplier to determine the delivery facts and explain an appropriate resolution, including replacement or refund where required by the contract or applicable law. A carrier's status entry does not automatically determine the customer's legal rights.

29. Visible damage on arrival

When reasonably possible, inspect freight packaging and the exterior of a parcel on arrival. Photograph visible damage, torn wrapping, punctures, missing pieces, or other delivery concerns. If the carrier provides a proof-of-delivery form, note visible problems accurately rather than signing a statement that the shipment is free of damage when damage is evident.

Notify our team promptly with an order number, photographs of packaging and merchandise when available, and a description of the issue. Retain the packaging if practical until the investigation or claim is resolved. Failure to follow an inspection recommendation does not automatically extinguish non-waivable consumer rights.

30. Concealed damage and defective goods

Some shipping damage is not apparent until packaging is opened. If you discover a concealed problem, document it and contact Theater Haven as soon as practical. Identify whether the concern appears to be transit damage, a missing component, a product defect, or an issue with assembly.

We will review the available information and coordinate with the supplier or manufacturer as appropriate. Remedies for damaged or defective goods may differ from voluntary change-of-mind returns and are not automatically limited by a carrier's preferred reporting window where applicable law provides otherwise.

31. Incorrect products, missing cartons, and shortages

If an order arrives with a different item, incorrect color, damaged component, or missing carton, please send the order number and a description of the discrepancy. Product labels, carton counts, and photographs can help us verify which items were tendered for shipment and delivered.

Some multi-carton products arrive in separate deliveries. We will check fulfillment and tracking records and work toward shipment of missing goods or another appropriate resolution under the applicable order terms and law.

32. Unsuccessful, missed, or refused deliveries

A carrier may be unable to complete delivery if the destination is inaccessible, an appointment has not been confirmed, a required receiver is absent, or the site cannot safely accommodate the shipment. The carrier's response and rescheduling options depend on the service purchased and the circumstances.

If a delivery fails, contact Theater Haven before arranging a paid redelivery or refusing a shipment. Customers are not automatically responsible for charges caused by carrier error or circumstances for which Theater Haven or its supplier is legally responsible.

33. Redelivery, storage, and additional freight fees

Some freight providers may assess storage, reconsignment, return-to-terminal, redelivery, or special-handling charges after an unsuccessful delivery. Such charges depend on the carrier agreement, why the additional service became necessary, and any information disclosed before purchase.

Theater Haven will not automatically charge the customer a supplier or carrier fee that was not properly disclosed or otherwise lawfully authorized. If a new customer-requested service requires an additional amount, we will explain the charge before requesting approval.

34. Risk of loss, delivery confirmation, and title

Responsibility for merchandise lost or damaged in transit, transfer of title, and proof of delivery are governed by the applicable transaction, state and federal law, and non-waivable consumer protections. A shipping label, tracking entry, or carrier pickup does not necessarily extinguish Theater Haven's responsibilities for delivery-related problems.

Where delivery status or condition is disputed, Theater Haven will review available evidence, including tracking, carrier records, proof of delivery, and customer-provided documentation, and determine the appropriate contractual and legal remedy.

35. Severe weather, disruptions, and extraordinary events

Weather emergencies, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, labor shortages, public safety restrictions, power outages, or other events outside reasonable control can affect warehouse processing, freight routes, and delivery appointments.

When material delays arise, we will communicate as appropriate and follow any legally required delay-notice, consent, cancellation, or refund procedures. A disruption outside our direct control does not by itself remove rights that applicable consumer law preserves.

36. International shipments, customs, and duties

Theater Haven's Free Standard Shipping offer applies to orders accepted for supported United States delivery addresses. International shipment is not a standard storewide service. If a specific product and supplier support an international order, its availability, price, delivery timing, and conditions must be clearly identified before the customer purchases.

Eligible international orders may involve customs processing, duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other destination-specific requirements. Any customer responsibility for such charges must be disclosed as required by law. The United States Free Standard Shipping promise should not be interpreted as a commitment to provide free international transport.

37. Original delivery and return shipping

The shipping method and price applicable to delivering an order are not necessarily the same as those applicable when returning merchandise. Free outbound standard delivery does not, by itself, promise free return shipping, prepaid return labels, freight pickup, or waiver of lawful return-related charges.

Returns, exchanges, cancellation rights, and any applicable return delivery arrangements are governed by Theater Haven's Return and Refund Policy, the terms disclosed for the purchased product, and applicable law. Contact the store for authorization and instructions before sending a return shipment.

38. Customer service and shipping inquiries

For questions about delivery eligibility, handling periods, rates, freight service, tracking, missed appointments, or shipment problems, contact Theater Haven and provide the product name or order number, as applicable.

Theater Haven customer service can be reached by email at help@theaterhaven.com or by telephone at +1 (269) 718-3399. Please do not send payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive credentials in a shipping inquiry.
